Twilight

What a waste of one of the best casts assembled in recent memory.  How can you have a mystery without a mystery?  In a way it reminds me of another movie that I watched recently – Farewell, My Lovely.  In that movie, the acting (ok, Robert MItchum) was atrocious but at least there was some kind of mystery at the center of it.  In this movie there really isn’t a mystery, there is just a reveal about how a certain incident went down (and the details were really irrelevant because we pretty much know the result of the incident early on in the movie).   If you pay attention you can see how this is all going to play out by simply paying attention to which big names don’t have much to do for much of the movie.  This really was some weak writing.
