Overview
A woman learns about the death of her Orthodox Jewish father, a rabbi. She returns home and has romantic feelings rekindled for her best childhood friend, who is now married to her cousin.
As is so often the case with Hollywood movies the movie poster is completely misleading. While there is certainly a backdrop of a secret relationship the movie has a much more serious message. This drama is definitely a slow burn and the final scenes (especially the final scene) were very well done (I was worried that they would violate the spirit of the film). The film really touched me as someone who has (in my own way) went against what was expected of me and forged my own road. I am free.
