Dentist, Bertram Pincus is a man whose people skills leave much to be desired. When Pincus dies unexpectedly, but is miraculously revived after seven minutes, he wakes up to discover that he now has the annoying ability to see ghosts.
How rare is it to find a funny, thoughtful and endearing comedy? Look no further – this movie was all of those things without following the standard Hollywood patterns. You know, the ones where you can write the rest of the movie when you’ve only seen the first 20 minutes. It wasn’t really a romantic comedy but it was rather endearing in its own right. Ricky Gervais was fantastic and Tea Leoni was also exceptional. Why isn’t she a bigger star? The film wasn’t without flaws (there was mediocre dialogue in some areas) but it was still very worthwhile.
