Overview
An average restaurant manager develops an interest in a comic character, then finds himself in a relationship that maybe shouldn't have happened.
At a high level we’ve seen movies like this before – a person is inspired by a comic book and decides to become a superhero. The difference in this film is that the superhero is more metaphorical than real. I enjoyed the film although I thought that the conflict at the end of the film was a little odd. After all, here was a decent and well-meaning person that got into some trouble through no real fault of his own. Now that I think about it maybe that was the point?
