Overview
An offbeat romantic comedy about a silver-painted street performer and the soft spoken zoo worker who falls for him.
Sometimes it is nice just to be put into a movie where the characters are struggling yet very likeable and you root for them. I don’t generally seek out this kind of backdrop (nor do I root for happy endings) and it’s a pleasure when it happens. This is a movie about two seemingly-anonymous characters whose paths cross. It seems that everyone in their lives is telling them that they aren’t good enough or having grown up enough yet, as if these facts are character flaws. The two leads are perfectly cast and I enjoyed the movie.
