Overview
A teen raised in the Netherlands by her single mother travels to their native Bosnia to visit the father who left them, as he’s been admitted to a rural hospital. Joined by her cousin and his best friend, they hit the road.
I think what really makes this movie unique is how it showed three young adults going through the process of trying to understand and harness their sexuality. The female lead is particularly striking – I firmly believe that if I didn’t have the subtitles on I still would have understood the gist of the movie.
