Overview
Geng Geng had been an ordinary girl before her entry to the best high school in the province by chance. She doesn't like her life there until she meets Yu Huai, her seatmate - their names make up the word "Geng geng yu huai", meaning "Unforgettable memories". They don't like each other at the beginning, but soon they start to understand each other.
This movie is a bit different than what you would get in an American coming-of-age movie. The characters and dialog are extremely sweet and innocent (I would have no problems letting my kids watch the movie) and this made for a unique movie experience. I was pleasantly surprised at the emotional turn that the movie takes towards the end.

My Review
This movie is a bit different than what you would get in an American coming-of-age movie.
