Its hard to say bad things about movies that are depicting real-life events.  This is especially true when said events reflect important achievements in providing equal rights to people who did not have them.  The first half of the movie does a pretty good job at setting the stage by introducing us to a variety of people from different backgrounds.   The end of the movie takes what could have been a very serious and in-depth examination of the issues and cleans it up in such a way that would make an after-school special blush.  The whole thing was just… odd.
