Overview
Darcy and Tom gather their families for the ultimate destination wedding but when the entire party is taken hostage, “’Til Death Do Us Part” takes on a whole new meaning in this hilarious, adrenaline-fueled adventure as Darcy and Tom must save their loved ones—if they don’t kill each other first.
The warning signs should have been there. While I like JLo’s personality very much and Jennifer Coolidge has grown on me after season 2 of White Lotus, each of them make catastrophically bad choices when it comes to movies. I don’t think either of them has made a movie since working with Clooney and Christopher Guest, respectively. Want more signs? A music bed running underneath ordinary dialog is a sure sign that the director knows that the dialog is garbage.
Despite having a decent cast this thing is a stinker. The two leads could not have less chemistry together. The mild attempts at humor are so weak that movie feels like a drama. The plot is completely paint-by-numbers and done much better in so many places that it might be easier to count the movies where it was done worse. I can only speak to the first third of the movie as that was as much as I could stomach.
