Overview
A former boy band star unexpectedly gets a second shot at success when he forms a bond with a gifted young drummer.
The film does a really nice job navigating waters that have been traversed by other films that came before it. The focus is on the characters and not the disability. Because of this, the viewer is left with a sense of empowerment rather than feeling sorry for the characters. It doesn’t hurt that the final scene is excellent. It was a very sweet little film and I enjoyed watching it.
