I watch a TON of indie movies. Sometimes I find a gem, sometimes I find… one like this. I don’t want to dump on someone that made a film. I’ve never made one and at this point I doubt that I ever will.
This movie isn’t good. In fact, it is pretty bad. If you’re going to have two characters sitting at a bar the whole night, at least give them something interesting to talk about. How about some philosophy? It felt like we were a fly on the wall in some dive, and that’s not a compliment. The female lead was actually decent, but the male lead… yeah. And why exactly is the title “Broken People”. They are people that are a bit sad and haven’t had the best luck. Broken? I don’t think so.
