Overview
A surreal comedy depicting a diverse cast of characters and the changes they undergo as the German tourist Jasmin interacts with each of them at a remote truck stop in the middle of the Mojave desert.
This was surprisingly sweet little movie about women who come from two completely different cultures yet have a similar shared experience (the men in their lives are dogs). I think it is also a commentary on depression. I think one of the themes that I ejoyed most was seeing how the one lead reacted when her decrepit living area was even marginally improved. Sometimes we all need a to see a little improvement in order for us to get out of our doldrums.
