Watching this movie a few decades after it was released was…. interesting.  Parts of the movie feel dated, but so much of it transcends the years.   It wouldn’t surprise me if the main character was the inspiration for so many characters that followed in movies and tv shows (Tony Soprano comes to mind).  Helen Mirren will forever be a treasure.

My Review
