Overview
A mild-mannered professor moonlighting as a fake hit man in police stings ignites a chain reaction of trouble when he falls for a potential client.
While I have been a big fan of most of Linklater’s work, I almost skipped this one because I disliked Powell’s movie with Sydney Sweeney that much. It is a good thing that I didn’t – this movie was such a good time. While this movie came very close to some familiar roads, it managed to be very authentic and unique. I dare say that everything – script, casting, resolution, etc – was exactly as it should have been.
