At times this movie veered towards the edge of the “tv movie / soap opera” cliff, but it never seemed to fall off of it.  While this was the type of movie that might work well as a play because of the sheer amount of dialog, the movie still generally worked for me.   I think that there are some good storylines and and character progression, and overall it offered a good commentary about people entering the back half of their lives.   Also, Gretchen Mol should have been a bigger star.

My Review
