Overview
David Aames has it all: wealth, good looks and gorgeous women on his arm. But just as he begins falling for the warmhearted Sofia, his face is horribly disfigured in a car accident. That's just the beginning of his troubles as the lines between illusion and reality, between life and death, are blurred.
This film was so close to being a classic. So much of it is really unique and engaging, and Cruise has never been better. I felt that the film excelled at having lots of twists and turns but still being accessible to those that paid attention. Also, you’re given little clues along the way that help you piece together what is going on. I really enjoyed it.
