Overview
During a weekend getaway at a secluded lakeside estate, a group of friends finds themselves entangled in a web of secrets, deception, and advanced technology. As tensions rise and loyalties are tested, they uncover unsettling truths about themselves and the world around them.
Some of the reviews of this movie complained that this movie has been done better elsewhere, and maybe it has since I haven’t seen all of them. What I found to be really unique about this film is just how human the machine is, and the audience came to care for it. That doesn’t happen in Her or in a Black Mirror episode. The twists and dark comedy were also extremely well done – the movie never got too dark and never got too heavy. I had an excellent time watching it and that it was a really unique entry into the genre.
