An anxious New York law school dropout stumbles into a job babysitting his psychiatrist's three granddaughters and falls for the girls' mother, an actress in a rocky marriage.
I am a huge fan of Amanda Peete, and I was really looking forward to her being able to stretch out in a starring role. What the movie does best is demonstrate a different side of loneliness, and the possible non-romantic friendships that can bloom from trying to make real human connections. Unfortunately this theme does not really come together until the final scenes, and the middle of the film was a bit empty. I bumped the rating slightly because of the uniqueness of the friendship.

My Review
