Overview
A con man, Irving Rosenfeld, along with his seductive partner Sydney Prosser, is forced to work for a wild FBI agent, Richie DiMaso, who pushes them into a world of Jersey powerbrokers and mafia.
I was really really excited to see this film. I loved the director and the cast and it visually looked appealing. And that was the problem – the film was all sizzle and very little meat. It very much looked and felt like people were dressing up in funny clothes to put on a play. Ugh…. so disappointing. It wasn’t terrible by any stretch of the imagination. It just wasn’t great or even very good. The shame is that Christian Bale was amazing in his role.
