A pair of teenagers in Western Australia looking to escape the monotony of life in a small town take up surfing lessons from a guy named Sando.
This was a very understated coming-of-age drama. It reminded me a lot of the fantastic An Education in the way that the story is told and where the character ends up. Some of the tag lines over-emphasized the last third of the movie (probably to draw in more viewers). I think that one of the toughest things to learn about life is where you are supposed to be.

My Review
