This was a movie written and directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. It is a story that has been told before and I think this is why the reviews were only lukewarm. Still, I quite enjoyed the film. The film was a little slow but the acting was extraordinary. I thought that the ending was both touching and fitting at the same time. While there are a few funny scenes the film is definitely a drama.  Fantastic use of Zeppelin in the final scene.
