Overview
Fleeing 1930s New York and leaving behind a chequered past, the giltzy divorcee Mrs Stella Erlynne travels to Italy's sun-dappled Amalfi coast. Mrs Erlynne's appearance causes a stir amongst the visiting aristocracy. Based on the Oscar Wilde play "Lady Windemere's Fan."
I can’t remember the last time where a movie just felt so…. off. While I can’t say that there was anything necessarily bad about the movie, it would also be true that there is very little right about it either. I generally like any of the actors in this movie, but they felt miscast here. The uneven script certainly doesn’t help.
