I’d say that this was a fairly fresh take on a genre and theme that has been done before.  Hugh Grant does his best Hugh Grant and the narration does a nice job of sharing the thoughts of the two male leads.  While I wanted to really love the film  I settled for liking it a lot, which is nothing to complain about.  I liked the ending although I would think that many people had hoped for something different.
