Overview
The mysterious disappearance of a kindergarten teacher during a picnic in the north of Iran is followed by a series of misadventures for her fellow travelers.
Part of my enjoyment of movies like this is to see how no matter how different our various societies might be dating is universally difficult. As for the movie…. I liked it. I normally really enjoy movies that have very subtle themes – this film had that in spades. In fact, I think I may have wanted a little more conflict between the main characters in light of the “event” that happens in the first third of the film. This film was made by the same Iranian director that made the fantastic A Separation.
