Overview
The summer before college Auden meets the mysterious Eli, a fellow insomniac. While the seaside town of Colby sleeps, the two embark on a nightly quest to help Auden experience the fun, carefree teen life she never knew she wanted.
I really enjoyed this movie. I’ve seen a ton of coming-of-age movies and what I think this movie does best is that it doesn’t treat the teenagers as though they are teens. For the most part they are the center of the movie and they seem to have equal footing with the adults. I don’t know if this movie plays as well without the strong performances of the leads – their chemistry is excellent.

My Review
