Ash Is Purest White

A really interesting portrayal of someone that seems to love someone else unconditionally.  In a weird kind of way it reminded me of the end of the movie Tin Cup.  I can picture the female leading reaching her hand back and saying “ball!” as she waits for another golf ball to be put in her hand.  All kidding aside, I think there are several ways to look at the main character.  For the most part I admire her determination.  It would be something to truly love someone like that.  That said, we could tell by the expressions on her face in the last few scenes that she had no delusions about what she was doing.  Still, it didn’t make the end any less poignant.
