Overview
Following the death of their friend, two girls in their late twenties embark on a road trip to spread his ashes. Seph and Alex take turns driving. Dan is in the glove compartment, in tupperware, decreasing in volume as the trip progresses.
Sometimes a movie can be pretty much exactly as you expect it to be and still be really terrific. In the last few years I’ve realized that I am a fan of road trip movies because there is an opportunity to isolate the characters and have some interesting character development. This movie takes on a new twist with the addition of the laptop and third guest as well as other guests. It isn’t terribly deep or original but that’s ok. It’s interesting and charming and not completely predictable and I really enjoyed it.
