Overview
Adam Jones is a Chef who destroyed his career with drugs and diva behavior. He cleans up and returns to London, determined to redeem himself by spearheading a top restaurant that can gain three Michelin stars.
I think that main problem with this movie is that it tried to bite off more than it could chew. The first third of the movie was a whirlwind as it tried to create a backstory and set the stage for the rest of the movie. It was extremely thin and you could almost see the “to-do” boxes being checked off at the end of each scene. When the film slows down a bit towards the end, we get a bit more meat on the proverbial bone. I think the focus of the final scene was a wise decision by the filmmaker.
