Cold Comfort Farm

The funny thing about this film is that the audience probably has an expectation about where the film is going to end up.  After all, we’ve seen the premise throughout literature – orphan goes to live with broken and sometimes wicked family.  That much is true here – what happens after that is engaging and quirky.
