If you’re going to make another entry into the “terrible person has an awakening” genre, at least make the story compelling.  I think part of the difficulty of making a movie in this area is that you have to establish that the main character is a terrible person, and that was just plain tedious to watch despite the best efforts of Ms. Stalter (why can’t they get her a role worthy of her talents?).

My Review

If you’re going to make another entry into the “terrible person has an awakening” genre, at least make the story compelling.  I think part of the difficulty of making a movie in this area is that you have to establish that the main character is a terrible person, and that was just plain tedious to watch despite the best efforts of Ms. Stalter (why can’t they get her a role worthy of her talents?).
