First and foremost, I feel sorry for the quality actors that had to work with this script.  Wow, where to begin with this movie… it is consistently mediocre all of the way through.  I might be wrong about this, but it felt like it needed to either be more serious or more zany.  Instead, there was just hollow slapstick that served as comedy.  Think about it:  the dream sequence gave the film license to do pretty much whatever it wanted.  But even with that blank slate, the storyline was really mediocre and unsatisfying.  Such a terrible waste of a good cast.  While I love Candy, I think he was terribly miscast here.
