I saw a comparison to the underrated tv show “It’s the End of the F****** World” – I think the two have a lot in common. I think that show did a better job than this movie at being absurd while still maintaining a story arc. That said, the last act of the movie is pretty decent and overall I think it is a good story of two misfits that (kinda) work together.
