This movie reminded me of my experience watching the Kill Bill movies.  I wasn’t shot in the rear with the first one as it was heavy on martial arts and lighter on story.  As I watched the first half of this movie was a bit puzzled by what I was watching.  It was surreal, absurd, and over the top.  Not at all boring, but not my cup of tea.  As the second hour unfolded the movie began to shift into a more traditional story (not unlike Kill Bill 2).   By the last twenty minutes I was out of breath as I was blown away as I discovered what the movie was really about.   The storytelling is amazing.
