After losing her job, making out with her soon to be ex-boss, and finding out that her daughter plans to spend Thanksgiving with her boyfriend, Claudia Larson has to face spending the holiday with her family. She wonders if she can survive their crazy antics.
For the life of me I can’t understand how Roger Ebert gave this movie 3.5 stars. The cast is amazing and that’s part of the reason that the film is so disappointing. It’s a drama without drama with characters that I couldn’t care less about. I wanted to love the movie or even be interested in it… it just wasn’t there.
