Overview
After being cut from the USA softball team and feeling a bit past her prime, Lisa finds herself evaluating her life and in the middle of a love triangle, as a corporate guy in crisis competes with her current, baseball-playing beau.
This movie is a classic case of the parts being better than the sum. There are so many fine actors in this movie – Witherspoon, Rudd, Wilson, Nicholson, and the underrated Kathryn Hahn. It was fine to watch because the characters are so likeable, but it was no better than that. I think there was a better movie in there.

This movie is a classic case of the parts being better than the sum. There are so many fine actors in this movie – Witherspoon, Rudd, Wilson, Nicholson, and the underrated Kathryn Hahn.
