It is a bit odd to be reviewing films made in other cultures with other values a long time ago.  That said, I think that is much of the reason that I enjoyed this film.  It was great to see people viewing relationships in such a non-linear way.  I especially appreciated the depiction of the men trying to tame a woman that was not interested in being tamed – that is a theme that transcends cultures.
