Knives Out

I think this is a classic case of the rotten tomatoes score being extremely high but not necessarily translating to the quality of the movies. Is this in my top 10 for the year? Maybe. It’s a quality film with a good story. It’s a bit odd in that for a while it aspires to be a whodunit…. until it doesn’t. At that point it becomes more about filling out the details of what happened. In that sense it is a little bit odd because as a view you are not exactly sure on what level you should be watching the film. Should be you looking for clues? Even right up until the end I was looking for a twist that I was not sure was coming (as it turns out, I had the wrong twist).
