I went into this movie with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. I think that based on the title (and Seth Rogen’s inclusion in the cast) people probably expected it to be a typical rom-com filled with hacky site gags. While there are some funny scenes, the movie works best as a rather thoughtful drama. The title kind of cheapens the movie, but whatever. I don’t know why Theron isn’t a huge star as she is a fantastic actress. Rogen sometimes gets on my nerves (the stoner routine can get old) but I think he is perfectly cast in this movie.
