Overview
A holiday fable that tells the story of an elderly man discovering love for the first time.
At different parts of the movie the story was dangerously close to being that of a Hallmark movie. I suspect that the presence of Scott and Banks may have given it a bit more credibility than it deserved. Anyway, Burstyn and Landau are particularly wonderful in their roles. The movie morphed into something different as it went along and I think the resolution was tenderly executed.
