Overview
A very gentle middle-aged man is married, but when he falls in love with another woman, he decides that to divorce his wife would humiliate her too much – so instead he decides to kill her.
This movie was a surprising little gem. There have been countless movies made about relationships and marriage, but I can’t ever recall one that is quite like this one. Over the course of 90 minutes, the film twists and turns as it lays out the conflicts between the main characters. And then it does something interesting: in the middle of relationship turmoil, it hints at darker themes and possibly a mystery. The icing on the cake is that it does something that these movies tend not to do: the resolution is what usually happens in real life.
This movie was really well-done and I would definitely recommend it to someone who enjoys these themes.
