Overview
A washed-up '80s pop star gets a chance at a comeback when reigning pop diva Cora Corman invites him to write & record a duet with her, but there's a problem--Alex hasn't written a song in years; he's never written lyrics and he has to come up with a hit in a matter of days.
The movie isn’t trying to hide what it is: a sugary concoction of two of the actors that have the most sugar in Hollywood. If you go into the movie knowing what you are going to get then you will probably have a decent time with this movie. Both Barrymore and Grant are playing their best Barrymore and Grant and the chemistry they have shouldn’t surprise anyone. That said, I liked it a bit more than I expected to despite the sugar factor.

My Review
