Overview
Jean-Baptiste Grenouille, born in the stench of 18th century Paris, develops a superior olfactory sense, which he uses to create the world's finest perfumes. However, his work takes a dark turn as he tries to preserve scents in the search for the ultimate perfume.
This movie…. wow. They don’t make many movies these days that would qualify as an epic, but this is definitely one of them. The story is unique and the performances were exquisite. That said, I didn’t love it as much as I wanted to, but I completely get why so many people adore the film. It is nothing if not unique.
