Overview
In an early 20th century village, a painter with an unusual commission finds two pretty girls two model for him. The girls slowly come of age while exploring their sexuality and finding liberation in a repressed society.
I know that I was not supposed to “get” this movie, and I didn’t. One viewer would see this as a commentary on sexual repression, and another would see it as something that would air on Cinemax on friday nights in the 80s. They are probably both right.
