Overview
An Interpol-issued Red Notice is a global alert to hunt and capture the world's most wanted. But when a daring heist brings together the FBI's top profiler and two rival criminals, there's no telling what will happen.
The good news: the first ten minutes and the last ten minutes aren’t too bad. The bad news: the rest of the film is really mediocre. So what is wrong with the film? It’s hard to say. After all, it follows the template created by so many films before it: attractive people filmed in exotic locations, historical mystery, buddy comedy, road trip, snarky dialog. I think the major problem is that there really isn’t much chemistry between Johnson and Reynolds. If a buddy comedy is done well the viewer finds himself wanting to hang out with the buddies. I think the second problem is Gadot. Sure, she is lovely to look at and I think she has worked really hard on her acting. She doesn’t embarrass herself…. she just has zero charisma on screen. She isn’t sexy, alluring, or prominent in any way. It is if she is nothing more than an ornament in the film.
