Roger Ebert had an interesting take on this film. He said that it is neither a good movie nor a bad one. It is a film with a great cast that leaves you wishing for a more interesting story. I usually avoid these kinds of films because they never seem to pay off. The trailer was somewhat amusing so I thought I would let my hair down and give it a try. In the end, it kept my attention and it was fun most of the time so I can’t complain. At times it was rather slapstick and at other times there was a decent plot. In a weird kind of way it was like Hudson Hawk met Ocean’s Eleven (not that either of those films set the world on fire). Even in a mediocre film Helen Mirren can flat out act.
