Overview
In 1970s Mexico City, two domestic workers help a mother of four while her husband is away for an extended period of time.
I know that this film has been a critical darling and I was excited to see it. As the film started I felt that I was really in for a treat – I loved the feel of the opening sequence. It felt artsy. And then…. it was just alright. I thought it was really interesting how the struggles of the woman were both similar in that they were woman dealing with bad men but different in that they were from different classes.
