I think the premise of the movie is actually really clever:  there is an Agatha Christie movie inside of an Agatha Christie movie.  The opening minutes of the movie are actually quite good.  The problem with this movie is everything after the beginning of the movie.  It very much feels like the director thought that he could just roll the balls onto the proverbial court and he would have a basketball game.  The movie was filled with all of the normal trappings of a murder-mystery but they just didn’t add up.  The parts were definitely better than the sum.  I never felt any real intrigue, nor did I feel the movie building to a climax.   it tried to be quirky and that felt wrong also.   It ended up feeling like a cheap imitation of an Agatha Christie play.
