A seamstress gets tangled in her own thread after stealing a briefcase from a drug deal gone bad. In an escalating game of cat and mouse, her different choices lead to drastically different outcomes along the way.
This movie is an unholy mix of MacGyver, The Dressmaker and Match Point. The problem is that two of these movies are far, far better than this movie. Who thought that we needed this? And the whole thing about “choices” – it didn’t really resonate with me until the final scene. It felt like the whole “choices” theme was added just to make it different from other “wrong place, wrong time” movies. The only thing that is appealing about this movie is the odd backdrop.
