Overview
A famous horror writer finds inspiration for her next book after she and her husband take in a young couple.
This was such a unique way to tell a story, or rather a story in a story. I can’t think of another movie quite like it. I love when something happens in a movie where it forces the user to reconsider everything that had happened earlier in a new light. Beyond that, the acting by the three leads is exceptional. Elisabeth Moss is this generation’s Meryl Streep. I recently saw Capote and was distracted by Hoffman’s portrayal for the whole movie. Moss is nearly unrecognizable in this role and it is completely believable.
