Overview
A recent college graduate in the midst of depression must decide if he will persue his passion or stick to the protective bubble of his small town life.
I hate crapping on other people’s art. After all, I’ll probably never do what these people did. And it isn’t like they did a terrible job – I’ve seen some really bad indie movies. The main problem with this movie is the script. It feels very much like a short that was then converted to a full-length film, and the conversion is mediocre. The film should have been titled “Filler” because there is just soooooo much useless content. The conversations at the bar were absolutely brutal. There are way too many scenes where the story is not moved forward. The ending was decent, but it just didn’t feel earned. There are 2 or 3 scenes that demonstrate how the guy needed to “grow up”, and the rest of the movie was just filler as we waited for the resolution.
